The Martial Art Business Growth Network was born out of frustration. After years of running my own martial art schools and training teams to manage them, I got fed up with the same tired advice from so-called "gurus." Their mantra? Success is all about packing more members into your school.
But here’s the thing: no one talked about profitability, building a real business structure, or even personal development.
I’ll never forget one “guru” shouting, “When are you going to buy your dream car?! Just do it!” That was about as deep as their advice went.
Running a martial art school empire with over 700 members and 26 staff at its peak taught me one thing very quickly: more members didn’t mean more happiness or success. Sure, it stroked my ego, but the reality? It was stressful.
What I really wanted was:

More time with my wife and two children
And to make a greater impact in my community
So, I flipped the script. I stopped listening to the “I’ve got over 1,000 members” crowd and focused on what really matters: building a business that works for you, not the other way around.
